Wasserfälle
Island ist geradezu übersäht mit Wasserfällen, einer schöner
als der andere. Beliebte Stellen für eine Rast mit dem Bus, manchmal
mit Souvenirverkauf. Dabei ist doch jeder etwas anders, sei es das
ungestüme Wesen des Aldeyarfoss, der feierliche Eindruck des Svartifoss,
das Schmutzig-Brutale des Dettifoss, der feierliche ferne Blick auf den
Godafoss, der zierliche schmale Seljalandsfoss oder der pompöse Auftritt
des Gullfoss.

Waterfalls
Iceland is covered in waterfalls, one more beautiful than the next.
They are popular places to stop for a break on a bus tour and sometimes
are used to sell souvenirs to the tourists. Each waterfall has a
different character - the impetuous Aldeyarfoss, the impressive
Svartifoss, the dirty and brutal Dettifoss, the remote Godafoss,
the slender Seljalandsfoss and the pompous Gullfoss.
